I&#039;ve been a tech writer for years and as I begin to embark on a new adventure (going back to school in computer technology), it is ironic how essentially what you say is exactly the reason. Documentation is one of those necessary evils that must be done, but nobody really cares about it or ever reads it. When a company experiences financial hardship, who should they let go of...you go it! Tech Writing. And THAT is exactly why at 42, I am heading back to school!
