I'd like to see some debate around how to get to that price point that defines the "efficient operator" - easy to write the words, not so easy to pin down a figure in cents/minute.

I'd also like to see debate around that glide path ending in 0. Zero interconnect fee is highly disadvantageous to the biggest player(s), but would stimulate competition from the ISPs turned telcos like nothing else would.

Once interconnect is under control (assuming it will), there are many other issues to deal with, the "last mile" being one of them. A recent report that Telkom are under recovering on their line charges at the moment horrified me. Unless of course they are blowing smoke in our eyes ahead of Local Loop Unbundling?
