Would this mean that the SA Government's strategy is to support and co-fund both the Sentech led ACE cable as well as the Infraco led WACS undersea cable on Africa's West coast?
Would the SA Treasury be fully funding these ventures or will Sentech and Infroco raise capital themselves. Finally, will Sentech still be requesting that addition R 500 million or so to fund its Broadband Wireless rollout?
Santa broadband is definite generous this season
decisions-choices-more choices and many decisions to be made..

How will this new "ACE" cable interact with the Telkom/Vodacom/MTN consortium's WACS cable that should be completed by March 2010; and will the cost of this new cable be passed on to consumers like everything else with unrealistically high broadband/bandwidth prices?
