IdeaBounty is in fact merely an intermediary, i.e a crowdsourcing platform owned by emarketing agency Quirk, and the clients that will be using the ideas sourced via IdeaBounty – Capitec Bank being the most recent – are actually the ones paying for the ideas.

And despite the above fallacy, Ideabounty is conceptually brilliant. Even I – over time – has been converted to start loving it.
