The keyboard issue could be simple to fix in code. Requiring Flash permanently excludes all iPad users.

Its a sad reflection on banks and our relationship with them that we cant easily access data on how we spend our money without compromising our trust with them.

They don’t do anything with this data to benefit us (or themselves) anyway.

I feel like this is some Bizarro world press release. Let me get this
right. A site expects me to enter all my private banking details so that
they can show me how much I’ve spent, and then charge me R70 per month
for the privilege? All power to the guys involved, I truly wish them
luck (sincerely), but I can’t see how this has any hope of attracting
users, especially if you’re hoping for them to pay on top of it!

Yeah, I cringed when I saw the flash intro. I thought okay, the real site is coming soon. Then there was the flash login. A bit worrying. Then I saw the entire site was flash and eish.

On the plus side, it renders perfectly on my Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet, but it’s a short-lived plus – they have done something funny to the input fields which prevents the keyboard from popping up when it gets focus, so you can’t actually log into the site from there.

Until the banks can approve/endorse this service, I’m going to find it very difficult to part with my Internet banking username and password. IF something goes wrong and your account is hacked, I can guarantee that the SA banks will not be sympathetic and you’ll never get your money back. When I see an official FNB “OK” stamp on this, I’ll sign up.

It seems to be written in Flash. HTML5 would have been a far better decision. The site also seems to have crashed already. #epicfail

Using it with FNB and Standard Bank. Some issues with Standard, but it loaded all my FNB info. Very nice.

Will be an epic fail if the only way to import transactions is to provide your banking login details to a third party site.

Yeah, it failed a few times for me. It got my data on the 6th time (I got 6 log-in SMSes) – just keep trying.

FNB’s security seems to be blocking the service. Is anyone else having luck adding FNB accounts?
