If we do not support the challenger namely Cell-C the duopoly of MTN and Vodacom will stay comfortable with charging what the thanks for supporting us premiums. We should give Cell-C an opportunity to prove that they can be a significant challenger in this market.

Give Cell C a chance guys they are bringing us a new technology. Rome was not built in a day and vodacom and MTN are not much better. at least they are honest and trying.

# Jackson & Jelly you both sound hard to satisfy and in real life Cell C has really launched data in our own South Africa in the city of Port Elizabeth. I think we should begin smelling the coffee and experience the new Cell C with all their promises. In my mind a cellphone user who understand the industry should automatically be excited that so much is offered for so low in price and one could further suggest like what Glen in saying Cell C should also include month to month. I challenge both of you to buy this and then comment on your experience because at the moment you have no facts..

Watch CellC’s network fall over once they have all the cheapscates rushing to buy the bluff. They cant even get voice right…What makes you think data is going to be any more reliable?

Cell C’s data pricing is a step in the right direction indeed. R2999 for 5GB / month = 60GB / year .. that works out to R249 / month including the modem. I wonder what their pricing would be if you want to go on a month-by-month package. Hopefully they’ll launch a month-to-month package or a contract package of some sort where you don’t have that huge initial outlay.
