I played on a PS3, and a friend with an XBox was awed by the graphics quality. I can’t comment on the Xbox graphics, but on the PS3 it was often like being immersed in a movie that you had control over.

A bit of a spoiler – when the game ends you stiull have a chance to go back and complete areas you may have missed – you don’t have to knock yourself out to complete all the quests before the end.

however, there seems to be a flaw of the game you forgot to mention, a powerful gameplay element that the first game actually had and for some unknown reason was scrapped for the second game.

The ability to replay main story line missions. assassins creed 2 even has a perfect DNA menu for it. the reason they did not implement it into the second game is oblivious to me. especially when it was considered one of the positives of assassins creed 1. there is a petition though on the ubi forums in the assassins creed 2 general discussions. i suggest anyone who reads this to go there and vote yes for a patch to implement the ability to replay main story line missions. we have already reached about 500 signatures. people are very upset that assassins creed 2 does not have this feature. hopefully ubisoft will do something about it
